Insider travel tip: Flights from John Wayne (Orange County) Airport tend to be a few dollars more expensive than other airports, but worth the price and saved time. Long Beach is often a cheaper and good alternative too. Traffic from LA down to Orange County on a Friday night can be a slow crawl, so use LAX (and Burbank) as a last resort. With Ontario located east in the IE (Inland Empire), it’s relatively easy driving in reverse traffic heading back into Orange County.

We have made reservations available at some hotels for the 2011 OC Singles Conference where a special conference rate will be available, and everyone can share rooms to reduce lodging costs.
We have reserved 50 rooms (double beds) at the La Quinta Inn in Costa Mesa just off of the 405 Fwy, convinently located halfway between Huntington Beach and Irvine, for only $59 per night (plus tax). (With 4 people per room, that's only $15 per night, per person). Price includes breakfast and shuttle to John Wayne Airport.

**As of July 14, we have now another 25+ rooms available at the brand new SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Irvine, just off of the 55 Fwy, close to everything. All rooms (double queens or kings) are suites with separate sofa beds too at the OC Conference rate of only $109 (plus tax), normally $150+. So 4-6 people can easily stay in a room (so for 4-6 people, that's only $25-30 per person per night including tax). Price includes complimentary deluxe breakfast buffet, pool, putting green, firepit, onsite fitness center, etc.
